Our History
McCluskie Ganj is a picturesque hamlet in the heart of nature, sixty kilometres north west of Ranchi.
A place with abundant flora and fauna, had been home to a thriving Indo-European community in the better part of the 20th century. Besides, many a eminent personalities including authors, artists, retired civil servants and military generals found this place to be their second home. While the glory of the place may have faded with time but it’s natural surroundings with sakhua, mahua and palash, are as astounding even today. Long walks and treks into the country side around fields and forests are particularly refreshing. One can lay back and relax in the freshness of the environment.
The place is flocked by both, domestic as well as foreign tourists and travellers, specially in the winter months.

The Ganj is well connected by road Ranchi, Daltonganj, Hazaribagh and Netarhat.
It is also connected by rail to Howrah and Jabalpur as also to Delhi. Pick up and drop facilities to Ranchi airport and railway station are available. Sightseeing tours are also organised by us on request.
